The Aspected Database is priced by capacity, per month — running as a sovereign installation in your own Azure or AWS tenant, inside your security perimeter, on your internal data. Buy it as a transactable offer on the Azure Marketplace or AWS Marketplace, through your existing cloud agreement, on your existing cloud invoice — no separate vendor onboarding, no new procurement process. All prices in EUR, excluding taxes.

Pick your meter: raw content, or records
The subscription is priced by capacity, measured on one of two meters — whichever fits how you fill the database. Through the (free) Aspected pipeline, content is parsed, chunked, enriched with aspects and permission-mapped automatically; these deployments meter raw source content in terabytes — the number you can read directly off your source systems, before any indexing. Through the ingestion API, organisations that run their own content processing push records directly; these deployments meter records, since Aspected never sees the source estate. One terabyte of raw content corresponds to 40 million records — the tiers and prices are identical on both meters.

The rate per terabyte falls with volume, the way cloud storage rates fall. On the Enterprise tier, capacity beyond 100 TB is charged as an overage of €150 per additional terabyte per month. For substantially larger estates, contact us for a volume agreement.

Cloud consumption (runtime and embedding) runs on your own account from day one, at your rates. Above 5 TB, we run a structured pilot with agreed success criteria instead.

The subscription — and the consumption in your own tenant
Prices above are the Aspected software subscription only. Because the deployment is sovereign — it runs in your tenant, operated by your own team like any other infrastructure component — the cloud consumption it uses is billed by your cloud provider at your rates, not by us. Two items, both sized below so there are no surprises:
CLOUD RUNTIME (COMPUTE & STORAGE)
Indicative footprint for a standard deployment: S/M ≈ €300–450 · L/XL ≈ €600–1,000 · 2XL/Enterprise ≈ €1,600–2,800 per month. Actual consumption depends on region, instance selection and query load.
EMBEDDING AT INGESTION
Converting content to vectors uses standard embedding models on your own cloud account — indicatively $30–120 per terabyte of source content at initial ingestion, plus incremental embedding as content changes. Same models, same provider rates as in any architecture.
WHAT EVERY TIER INCLUDES
The full database — and the pipeline that fills it
In every tier: the aspect engine, the permission model applied at retrieval time, inspection and control of retrieval results, the ingestion API, and all product updates. Every result is inspectable: see what was retrieved, why, and under which permission.
You choose how the database is filled — the price only ever meters the volume inside it.
Bring your own chunks: push records straight through the ingestion API, indexed as they are — your chunking, your metadata, full control. (Retrieval quality then follows the quality of the records you supply.)
Or let our preparation pipeline do it: parsing, chunking, aspect mapping and permission mapping — included as software, at no charge. The only cost is the embedding your cloud provider bills at ingestion: the ≈$30–120 per terabyte listed above. Either way it’s the same database, the same index, the same tier price.
